Ultraviolet (UV) and Thermal Stability Lenses

Fused Silica and Fused Quartz lenses offer improved transmission in the ultraviolet region compared with most crown glasses. Both are able to withstand higher temperature operation and a greater degree of resistance to thermal shock.

Where there is a need for lenses to have good transmission below 250µm, the purer ultraviolet grade fused silica is preferred.

Available in Pl/Cx, Positive Meniscus, Pl/Cc, Negative Meniscus and C/C shapes
